Deech

Grown up in Wanganui, New Zealand. Was exposed to dubstep whilst working in ski fields all over Japan during the last 6 years. He was left shocked and in awe after a Rebel Familia live at Woopies in Kyoto. He took this experience back home to Wellington and enjoyed a year of laxing and building his skills as a dj whilst jaming with SBF crew, a tight but underground posse who’s producing the sickest sounds in Newtown!! (Keep your ears out for SBF’s debut album comming out at this year)!

ニュージーランド生まれ、育ち。地球人。2002年、「Never Ending Winter」を追い求めて初めて日本へ。数年間、様々なスキー場を回りながらピースな人々と雪や音楽で遊び漬けの日々を送る。ニュージーランドの Drum’n'Bassカルチャーに影響を受け、Drum’n'Bassソルジャーとして数多くのパーティーに通いつめていくうちにDubstepに興味 を持ち始める。そして京都のWhoopeesでRebel FamiliaのライブにおけるGoth-Tradのパフォーマンスに衝撃を受け、自信も音楽活動を始めることを決意する。
その後オーストラリア /ニュージーランドにてDJ活動を開始したのち、再び日本へ。2008年、東京にて音楽中心の生活をするため白馬の雪山から下山。2009年、東京で知り 合ったDubstep仲間と「Dub Cake」というイベントを開始。現在、東京にて様々なパーティーでプレイする他、冬期には白馬においてもDJ/オーガナイザーとして活動している。
