ハリキリ (Harikiri)

ロンドン(英国）出身のハリキリ（Harikiri）は現在北京(中国）に在住。15歳でエレクトロニックミュージックのプロデューサーとして音楽 のキャリアを開始した。最初はダークでテクニカルなドラム＆ベースを主に演奏していたが、最近では140bpmとそれを超えた領域に音楽的な焦点を置いて いる。キャリア開始から8年後、彼のスキル、個人的な「サウンド」、聴覚への効果が飛躍的に発展し、世界の音楽界とアンダーグラウンドシーンで注目を集め るようになった。

2008年末にはDJとしてツアーを開始したが、非常に短期間のキャリアの間にIcicle、Instra:mental、Oxide & Neutrino、Joker、Chase & Status、Cluekidなど等の多様なDJとともに、ロンドンの有名なFabricやMinistry of Soundナイトクラブを含む多くのクラブで活躍しだした。

「同じような」音楽を選択する平均的なDJと違い、彼はおおまかにbpm域を定義した選曲を好むことで知られている。これがラズカ（Lazka）と いう名称で行なわれる彼のDJセッションが複数のジェンレをシームレスにまとめながら、イノベーションとアーティスティックな素質を発揮すると急速に名声 を高めた理由である。

Harikiri, originally based in London (UK) but now living in Beijing (China), began his music career as an electronic music producer at age 15. Initially focused on dark, technical forms of drum & bass, in recent years his musical focus has ventured into the 140bpm realm and beyond. Eight years later, his skills, personal ’sound’ and aural impact have developed to such an extent that both commercial and underground scenes across the globe are taking note.

In late 2008 he began his journey as a DJ, but in this considerably short timeframe his career has already seen him play alongside a diverse array of DJs such as Icicle, Instra:mental, Oxide & Neutrino, Joker, Chase & Status and Cluekid at a range of venues including London’s highly acclaimed Fabric and Ministry of Sound nightclubs.

He has been noted for ignoring genre definitions that restrict the average DJ to a minuscule selection of ’samey’ music, instead preferring to be loosely guided by bpm ranges. This is the fundamental reason why his DJ sets under the moniker ‘Lazka’ have gained such rapid acclaim for being innovative and artistic while seemlessly covering multiple genres.
